This is an accessible tourism initiative designed primarily for people with physical, mental and sensory disability.
Santa Pola Life Resort complex has some of the best and most modern facilities dedicated to accessible tourism accessible at the Costa Blanca. The Resort is committed to accessibility through universal design, both in exterior routes, areas and common spaces as in the residential area. It has 200 accessible bungalows in Mediterranean style, and offers a wide range of services throughout the year: preventive medicine, rehabilitation, anti-aging, spa treatments, water circuit, fitness, entertainment, dining, leisure and culture.
Together with the company
Sweet Up specialised in tourism and sports activities for persons with disabilities, we develop activities that improve health and welfare. Through the project "Sweet Up Experience" we have implemented some customezed options for leisure and entertainment.
In addition, the Town Council of Santa Pola will host the Basketball Championship in wheelchair, on a date to be determined. It is also working on the possibility to host other events of national and international adapted sports.
